I have tested all three of those cards at work, more then once.

If ya want them listed performance wise, then here it is:

1: Ti4200
2: FX5200
3: Radeon9000

the FX5200 and the Radeon are close matched, but the Ti4200 rises above the both of em.

The FX5200 and Radeon 9000 are both considered to be "budget" cards, meaning they're more for all around computing and video stuff, not really "hardcore" gaming like the Ti 4200 is

well it depends on what games/apps you are going to use. the ti4200 sure is faster than the two, but only the FX completely supports directx9.0 and if you are goin to buy the ti4200, spend 10 more dollars at Newegg and buy a geforceFX 5200 ultra... cuz that one is a little better than the 4200...and wont be outdated as fast as the 4200

The 4200 is the best of the bunch.

That link helps a lot Bruneau, but it seem that FX 5200 will be better than the Ti 4200 with the upcoming games.... (i think thats what The Terk said)
Tell me if I'm wrong.

Using bruneau's link, it would seem that the ti4200 performs better in the DX8 tests and only 100-200 points behind in the DX9 tests. So, yeah, the fx5200 will be better for upcoming games. But it lacks on todays games.

Not to be a pain or anything, but if you read Tom's Hardware review of the FX 5900 Ultra, you will see the benchmark charts for Doom III which show the FX 5200 Ultra getting it's butt kicked by the GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128mb card. Anyway, I'm not so sure the 5200 will outperform the Ti4200 in future games.
