best progs for benching and o/cing

Hi all,

Hooked up the MSI k7n2 delta along w/ my 1700 from newegg,(yes it's the JIUHB), upped the fsb a bit and now the thing says it's a 1.7Ghz processor in the windows info, is that right or it it just referring to the 1700. (It actually says 1700MHz at post, not 1700) I only got a 5 degree C increase under load (up to around 32C) Is that normal? Seems a little too good to be true

So, back to the heading, what's a good (preferrably free) benchmarking utility to test stability, actual processor speeds, etc.

Thanks!
Jme

a 1.7ghz processor is a little over what a 2000+ is...not bad

Yes, when you overclock temperatures will increase a few degrees, especially when you increase the VCore.

Sisoft Sandra has the best individual benchmark tests.
