Food A7N8X (Again?) Random Lockups, Electricity Maybe?

A7n8X (SIMPLE - SOUND, SERIAL, PARALLEL & USB 2 DISABLED)
KINGSTON HYPERX 256 MB 333
XP 2000+ (AMD COOLER)
ASUS Geforce2 GTS 64mb
SBLIVE! VALUE
2 HD (1 ATA100 1 ATA66)
LG CDRW 24X
WinXP Pro SP1
450W PSU
SMS 1KVA power no-break

Hi. Just upgraded my old rig (Tbird900 +Soyo K7vta-b+512 Micron Ram), which was giving me THE SAME problem. Surprise, the new rig is acting just the same!. Installed Winxp like a breeze, went to updating, SP1, DX9, nforce drivers (Nvidia, will try Asus´), then...after running 3dmark2001, went to internet - BOOM, CRASH! Reset on my face, now freezing after some minutes, or just after start-load Winxp...
The suspects: SbLive, HD, Casing, or maybe Stactic Electricity?
I´ve used the same wallplug (grounded) for years without trouble, then I started having this one some months ago...Is it possible that stactic is interacting with the rig and messing it up? Today I´ll buy a surge protector and will ground the plug into my bedroom window, which has a huge aluminium frame...
Anyway, will try to downgrade the DDR speed to 266, just to confirm if it´s a 266FSB incompatibility...
I´m just dumbfounded with so many posts about A7N8x, isn´t it the "board of the year" by THG and so many others?
Well, I will post my success or defeat soon.

Have you ever checked the wall plug to make sure the ground is actually functional?
I'm not saying this is the problem, just something you may want to check.

Talk

Well, my "know it all" uncle actually made the installation some years ago, he said it was working, so...
Luckily I´ve got a friend who has a fix for electricity, he has all the tools and stuff (amperblablameter, voltiwhatwasthat etc.), guess I´ll call him to check this out.
Thanks.
