fireworks buttons

I use fireworks MX to create buttons for my web site, and I got a problem.

When I create a button, it asks me to draw the up state, over state, down state, and over while down state of the button. I do all that, make the slices and stuff, and go to preview. For some reason the over state works, but the down state of the button doesn't. When I click on the buton, the down state does not display.

What do you think is the problem?

Dont use slice if you want to have more than 2 states. I usualy keep it at up and over because its just easiest that way.

Thanks, PyroSama, when I deleted all the slices I created, the down state started showing, and Fireworks sliced the document itself, Thanks!

Glad I could help. Some times it likes to mess things up though, thats why I use 2 stage.
