hey all. Looking for a decent telnet client. Soemthing with a GUI for a newbie would be nice.

I'm looking at expanding my knowlodge and want to try and connect to my webserver using telnet

If you don't mind paying for one, or using shareware, I'm a big fan of VanDyke's SecureCRT.. It does Telnet, SSH1/2, Serial, etc etc..

I use SimpTerm for my telnet needs (http://www.sofotex.com/download/software/409.html)

SSH has a version that's free for non-commercial use. It'll do telnet as well, but has the option to go secure if you want to do that in the future. (http://www.ssh.com/support/downloads...ommercial.html)

Putty is wonderful and free for telnet and SSH. All the features you could want.
