Need help/ideas for modding my case

Hey all, I'm new to the boards and have a few questions on modding. I need some help/ideas for modding my case. There is one catch though, my PC is in my desk and I only see the front of it. These are some things i was thinking about doing:

1. LCD Front Panel mod w/ Temperature and Music Visualations. I can't seem to find any US Stores that provide any kind of LCD Panel, so if anybody has one, please provide!
2. Ripping out the 5.25 Bay cover(s) so I can actually see into my case and add a "neon" light.
3. Cutting away my desk and adding all those side-case mods (extra fan, neon, etc). This could/would weaken my huge desk which holds all my junk.
4. Making a clear (plexiglass?) case!!! This is my dream!!!!! If anybody has a link for doing this step-by-step, that would be excellent!!!


ANY idea's, suggestions, links, vedors, help, ETC would be really great!

You could do this,add some lights,fans,leds,and set it on top of the desk where you could appreciate it

Really I would take it out of the desk just for cooling if nothing else.Plus you can see that new window/neon mod

Well the way my desk is set up, there really isn't a way for it to stand up on my desk. I suppose I could try it......or i could hack away part of the bottom of the desk to see it though and add some standard supports so she don't collaspe on me

simple put some l brackets on the wall and put a shelf up . put the case on the shelf so the side of the case faces out so all can see inside it .

well the I bracket thing definaltly
wouldnt work in my room, just becusae the way its setup. I think I am liking the idea of putting right by my monitor for air and looks. Now to the mods!!!! Does anybody have links/ideas/support/etc/etc?
