AIM substitute

I dont like using AIM cause it seems to be full of errors and such does anyone know something that i can use my AIM account with? Something stable.

Have you tried trillian?

you can use trillian howver you have to pay for it...I've used aim for years and haven't encountered to many problems what type of errors are you getting?

so then aim has nothing to do with your errors your problems seems to be related to your modem or some other program. Have you searched to see what that program is?

its something to do with 3com which is like the manufacturer of my modem ive tried to end task it but my modem quits working so obviously it has something to do with drivers. Or something like that.

yes that is a modem driver file you probably need to uninstall your modem and reinstall it and check for updated drivers.

these are the most updated drivers. I dont have the CD that came with it. and this is a fresh install and it still does it every now and then.

I use AIM and Dead AIM, dead AIM shows who signs on and off and away MSN style it tells u when someone does that. It can also tab all ur IMs in one window.
