Has my ICQ been compromised?

A while back I was getting msgs from ppl I didn't know...most of em advertising pr0n sites and that was easy enough to take care of, I set it up so that no one can msg me unless I authorize them first.

Now...a few times a week it seems I'll get a system msg saying that a user (again I have no clue who they are) has accepted the authorization request to be added to my contact list. I never receive any msgs from them...but I definitely don't like this.

Any ideas what this is or what it means?

There are tools to add users to your list that require authorization without the authorization...It doesn't make sense that the same tool is sending the spam if you haven't recieved messages from these users yet though.

Didn't think about this til just now...next time this happens I'll take a screen shot and show you exactly what's going on.

This is kinda surprising...the spamming on ICQ seemed to come to a complete halt about two years ago.
