Diamond modem firmware
I'm desperate.
Since Diamond is no longer in business and neither is SonicBlue who bought them, where can I get a firmware update for one of those modems ?
The model I'm looking for is the SupraExpress SUP2070, it's using Kflex, but I'm looking for a V.90 upgrade.

Try having a look at Modemsite.com. They have lots of info and may be able to help you on your quest. |

I'm back from that site, found nothing, not even a trace of Diamond/Supra stuff. |

Well you can look here. I didn't exactly find the 2070, but you can still take a look. If you decide to get something then use this.

Thanks a lot, but this is a driver, it won't make V.90 possible.

Well, looks like the SUP2070, 71, 72, 73 and 74 all use the same firmware, all those I found were dead links or linking to diamondmm, the result being the same as a dead link.
If you see such a file passing by, grab it and notify me please.

If all else fails skuz, you can always get a new modem from CompGeeks. They have 8 different 56k V90 and V92 modems for under $10 USD. |

Has to work on Linux.
Simplest would be an external, but thin on budget, so...

That's bad luck.
I finally found the firmware file, but it seems the 2071 up to 74 work with it, but the 2070 is on its own and needs a separate file. ( modem refused update code )
Anybody got a spare Supraexpress 56e (SUP2730) or know a place tha sells them and ship to Canada ? Diamond/Supra modems work best with this ISP. Pricey, but if that's the only way...
