Woohoo! DSL upgrade!

Well I just learned that my ISP is upgrading my connection from 1meg to 1.5 for free. Additionally, they'll be doubling uploads from 128 to 256 and eliminating bandwidth caps!

Congrads, but I still like Cable a bit better.
Maybe it was my provider, or just my neighborhood, but out of 1 year I had cable down once for 3 hours.
Compared to that I had DSL down 5 times, sometimes for as long as 4 days.
BTW I was using Earthlink DSL, and now I am using Earthlink Cable.
So far I must say cable is soo much better.

I'm in Canada on Sympatico. Apparently they're doing this to match Telus who have also dropped bandwidth caps.

Bah Willy they must be giving you guys in the east all the perks I haven't seen any difference here.

But by the way Telus is going they will be the only ISP in Canada :shudder:

I'll have to talk to my buddy that works for Telus in the data communication department in Calgary and see what he can do for me he he. It would be nice to get the high end buisness package instead of the home version.
