AuraEdge is correct. T1 is a max of 1.5MBps
A T3 is something like 45 or 46 MBps

You could have trunked T1's or fibre run from T3 somewhere, but it is definately more than one.

Hrmmm. They told me that it was a T1, but they might just have associated "T1" with "fast connection."
AuraEdge- I'm not sure where Boland Hall (my dorm) fits in on that web, but I know that I am on a 10BT network. I also don't know how up-to-date that image is, because they're constantly updating the system.
crouse- I think they're pretty strict about serving from the dorms, but I'll see what I can do. BTW- You da man here in Syracuse. There are buildings, streets, and all kinds of stuff with the name Crouse on it. I just thought that was kind of funny.

Could be multiple t1's. More likely a T-3. Certainly WAY more than a T-1

Soulja, didn't you say you had a T1 in a previous thread? And he lives in a dorm, at a campus. That's how he got it. I'm sure the average private person will find in way too expensive.

Yes the price for something inhome would be ridiculous. (Chances are the average person would have a hard time using all that bandwith anyway. )

That's a wicked speed. (Bad screenie though. )
