Kids will anything go wrong if i delete everything inside of my temp file

i know that i can delete everything in my "Temporary Internet Files" folder but just last week i noticed another one becide it that was called "temp" and it was 6 gigs!!! so i was wondering if there was anything important in there cause when i was looking through it all i could see was game patches and folders with long names.

I would keep everything in there that's today's date, it's probably in use. Everything else is probably just junk.

Try running the Disk Cleanup...it will know what's safe to delete

If that doesn't get rid of enough though then you should hunt for large files and delete them...

simple question. are you manually deleting these files, or are you doing disk cleanup in My computer?

well it's a temp directory. ALOT of stuff goes here during unzips and installs. I delete stuff in there all the time. "BUT" i make sure they are bogus files before I delete them. If they are folders in there and nothing inside them delete them. Anyfile that has. .tmp delete. useless for me anyways. anything will .dll becareful I don't advise keeping it unless the program using is uninstalled.
