which video card is worth my money

I'm looking at video cards to buy for my new rig, and I'm really confuse as to which i should buy. I don't want to spend money on features i'm rarely if ever going to use.

I don't really play first person shooters which really require the latest and greatest (I play tribes, the original), but i do play games mostly WC3. I mostly want it for watching videos, movies, and TV.

I was looking at this and it seems like a good price
but whats the difference between that one and this one

P.S.- i don't plan on overclocking or anything like that.

---As always your help is much appreciated

For $5 extra, I'd go with the 9600 Pro. It is a higher clock speed and will offer slightly better performance. I'm not sure how much, but for the sake of $5 I'd take the risk.

Dont get the 9600 from compusa. They want retail price. You can get it from newegg a bit cheaper.

Ones that say "built by ATI" are exactly that. "Powered by ATI" is like the Sapphire and Powercolor stuff. They buy the gpu and stuff from ATI then build em.

I suggest you don't buy either card. I've seen better price's on the net. (do a forum search)
