Kids How good is your FX5200 if you have 1

I know there are plenty of threads about the performance of the FX5200. Most I read about are from individuals who don't actually have one and just go strictly by what they read in reviews. If anyone has one of these cards, please tell how well you are satisfied with their performance. I need a really good budget card for about $80.00 and I just ordered a Chaintech FX5200. I think this card should do til the prices drop on the FX5900 or maybe even the ati9800, although I'm personally a bid Nvidia fan. So how well does your FX5200 perform?

Well like I said I've read plenty of threads about the FX5200 and most I read aren't from actual owners. I'm just curious to how well these cards perform from people who actually own one. I've read plenty of rewiews on this card also but not all reviews neccesarily reflect real-world performance. So on paper I know what I'm getting. Just want to know how well owners of this card like them.

WackoGuy, Where did you find such a price for the ti4200? Of course I would prefer a ti4200 but I personally couldn't find a price that low on them.

Used the Chaintech GeForce FX 5200 in a recent build with a XP1700+ and 512MB PC2100 DDR. It plays Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast without a flaw and looks great. Very smooth and shows good detail. For $70.00 from Newegg it was a good deal for a budget system that got the job done well.

I think that it will suit your needs well. I have sold several recently and put them through their paces and they are certainly a good alternative the gf4 mx440 which was our defacto budget gaming card.
Regards,
Elad.

Had a GF4 MX440 and it simply wouldn't play alot of games. The FX5200 is a step up. Perhaps a step behind the TI4200 but it's a nice performer for the price.

I've had mine for almost 2 months. The only problem I had, was with the driver it came with. Updated with the new FX - DirectX 9 drivers, and everything is beautiful. I have Asylum's card, which comes with 128DDR. Got it at CompUSA for 79.99, after an instant rebate. I like the fact that it supports 8X, but will work with 4X AGP. I plan to upgrade my MOB and CPU this summer.
