Acro-Bloat Reader

Why is this progy so resource hungry and slowwwwww? I've been trying to print out a 34 page document for weeks and the first time I tried I was told I didn't have enough free space on my harddrive. Well, that lead to me trying to take 3 small partitions from my original 20 GB drive and make two partitions on two 20 GB drives. Using Ghost I lost my D: drive altogether trying to save a copy as an image file. But then that's another story. Now I've got plenty of swap space and I've sent it to the printer and so far I've been waiting 30 min. for it to first print to the hdd and then for the HP utility to preview it. Just checked on that computer(posting this on a different one) and the HP print driver had and error so now I've lost all that time as well! Freakin' Acrobat!

5.1 was already a bit slow, but acceptable. I downloaded the 6.0 at a friend's house, takes quite long to start up on a 1.4 GHz.

I wonder what "features" slow it down.

I never had problems such as yours for printing though.
