What is the Best Heat Sink/Fan For the price?

Ok i have a AMDXP 2000+ and wanna get a new heatsink/fan. I have a very well ventalated case. Custom made cool air intake system. I even have air currents channeled in my case. I was wondering what is the best hs/f for under $50. I would also like this to work well with a 2600+ when i upgrade.

Volcano 11+ or the SLK800A. Not in that order either. The latter is better.

PS-
I just went through survival school just west of Kalispell. We climbed several mountains in view of Mt. Kalispell. Beautiful country! This is not me in the pic, but Kalispell is in the background. I was the one taking the pic.

I second daveleau, the SLK800A or even the 900 is great.
Couple it with a 92mm fan and you have a great combo!

I got a GlacialTech Igloo 2500 this weekend for my new hsf, it offered the best cooling/noise control combo of those that I looked at, it was $25 at newegg, but of course I can't attest to how well it works for at least a week!

you ask a hard question because there is alittle more to it than just whats the best . if you are oerclocking the best is what daveleau and bshplt said . if your not going to overclock you can go with many . as long as you keep the cpu under 50c its all good . if you want quiet . the quietest is the glachial tech silent breeze .. it is only 19dba but not good for overclocking . then i would say the vantec aeroflow and the glachial tech igloo 2500/pro both are about 25 dba .

I have quite a few SLK-800s. I use 50CFM Sunons. Relatively moderate DBAs, lots of air movement.

Yes, just use 80mm case fans with 4 pin to molex connector.
