Move WinXP sticker to new case

I bought a new case and wanna move the self destructing winxp sticker. How do I remove this sticker without it destroying itself like those car window stickers for inspection? Or if I can't , does MS issue new stickers?

Thanks!

Why's is so important? I'd pay money NOT to have one of those stickers on my computers.

You might try a heat gun or a hair dryer.

Maybe try a hairdryer---warm it up good and see if you can get behind it with a NEW single edge razorblade---take your time...

why not peel it off? Then get some stuff like Goo Gone and it'll take off the rest of that sticky residue it leaves behind.

You need to try to melt the glue without melting the sticker.

Try a hairdryer, or a hot air dryer of some kind. Just not so hot the sticker spontaneously combusts!

Cheers
Mick

eidt: BTW, if you know any computer dealers, they may give ya one from their pile if ya ask nicely....

oops, didn't notice that part. Well what they do on cars is they just have a chisel, and use a lot of force to try to move it off as evenly as possible. My friend has his windshield replaced and if you look at the sticker really closely its not perfect. At a glance it looks new, but I don't know what you can do. A chisel like that would probably ruin your case unless its made out of glass. If you soak the sticker with the Goo Gone for a few hours it should peel off without any problems from the case. The sticker may get discolored though.
