Man, that is a great article. Thanks a lot! I've been anticipating and thinking of new things for SC 2, but this really adds elements from different games to the "Perfect Starcraft" which makes it nice. If there was ever such a thing as a "perfect board", you've created it.

sorry, but starcraft is already perfect. a sequel would break the god-like status of the current starcraft. the game is perfectly balanced and making it a 3D game would be a big jump from starcraft. I hope they take a decade to release such game. I'd like to stick to the game I've been addicted for the last 5 years.

Starcraft is not perfect...where did you ever get that idea?

There are flaws in the game, like the retardation of of units. The races all use different strategies, which is cool, but get tiring very fast.

it is perfect, u can't do anything about the retardation of units because not everyone has computers fast enough and internet connections too support them. It definitelly doesn't get tiring at all if you play against other people, of course it's going to be boring if you play against the computer or newb's. There are infinite possibilities and combinations of strategies, however, no game can beat warcraft3 in complexity and combinations of strategies

If they decide to go with fewer units with SC2 as they did with WCIII, then it would remove the essence of the Zerg. No more mass Hydras or mass Cracklings....

zerg rules, defiler, ultra, zerglin combo razes everything. Terran stands no chance at all

Terran stands every chance.

Build a bunker, some seige tanks, goliaths, and battlecruisers and zerg looks like bullcrap. Defilers are still the best though, in terms of best "spellcaster".
