There is a ZIP program included with powerpoint called Pack and Go (it's self-extracting). It;s in the file menu. Problem is that you SHOULD have the pictures in there in the first place. Not sure why that isn't working.

I don't think it will grab movies.

If worse comes to worse, make a self-extracting RAR or ZIP archive, and burn it to a CD. Well, wait. If you burn it to a CD, you wouldn't have to compress it in the first place.

i.e i use win2k and it was trying to find it by going to

C:\documents and settings\Jaysin\desktop\final

when i tried to play the file in PP in the other computer it was say can not find file and show it was trying to look for like it was on the other computer. stupid profiles grrr

You can't open a Pack and Go with PP. Theres an executable you use to extract the file off the disk.

Perhaps I should add the executable is on the disk.

Did you jsut copy and paste the pictures or did you import the files?

I'm positive that if you goto Insert --> Picture --> From File, it will save the picture within the document, no need to have just a link to another file

You have to insert the picture using the Insert Menu as VHockey86 rightly says. This will embed the pictures and not just link it. You also have to check the "embed true Type Fonts" box in the Pack and Go Wizard or it simple links the fonts and if they are not installed in the destination PC, either there will be a substitution or you get an error.

Have you tried saving it as a Powerpoint show.

Go to File\save as and save the presentation as a PPS (powerpoint show).

The only issue there is that the teacher will not be able to do any changes on this presentation
