Delta Force - Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre
Finally, an awaited expansion pack, with so many extras. But sounds a little battlefield 1942'ish
with
- Land, Sea & Air Drivable Vehicles - BUT -
- Fly helicopters over vast terrains, steer Zodiacs along winding rivers or drive fast attack vehicles as teammates provide cover with mounted weaponry.
Its all the fun and action of BattleField, but a whole different period..
Sounds like its worth it, What do you reckon... Post ya reply's

i sometimes play it, but i never really thought of it a expansion pack material since it is based on such a small period in history (compared to, say, bf1942.)

I still haven't bought Black Hawk Down. I loved Delta Force 2, and the old BHD demo, so I probably should. But I'm just too busy with other games at the moment, like Battlefield 1942, MoH: Allied Assault, Morrowind, and Dungeon Siege.
Plus F-Zero GX is coming out in August, and there's a pile of PS2 games I never finished sitting under my TV. *sigh* |

Yep, but DFBHD's GFX engine seems to be a step up from BF1942..
Does anyone know if there is going to be a new BF..???

well i didn't really like the single player demo much, although the first multiplayer demo was really cool. i think the single player needs some work tho cause the enemy AI is terrible IMO. the graphics still don't feel as "natural" as the id or unreal engines, which i think is due to the textrue rendering (they tend to jump and such, almost as if it were software rendered, which i guess some of it is since it's using the voxel engine).
from what i've played there have been some really awesome things, and some not so great things.

I have BHD, and IMO it isn't worth what you would have to pay for it.. As mention above, the enemy AI is not very good at all, and you walk in a room and take out like 6 men without being hit. The good thing about the game is the mounted wapons and riding around in a helicopter shooting things with a minigun! This would be a GREAT game if the enemy AI wasnt so bad.. It's just not fun anymore after about 20 minutes of clearing rooms of 6 or more people without being touched..
