Kids GeForce4 Drivers

Hey, can you guys give me some links to sites that have optimized or performance drivers that I can use for my GeForce4 Ti4200? I downloaded the newest drivers for my card from the manufacturer which is ASUS and I see a big performance gain when I use them but they always make my system crash. It seems that when I download them an error occurs in 2 of the files in the driver. I'm not using a mass downloader , I'm using the downloader in XP so I know it's not that. They must have an error in them on the site. But anyways I downloaded the newest drivers from Nvidia and my card performs worse when I use these , but it doesn't crash. So I thought that if I could get some optimized drivers from somewhere else , they might do the trick. Thnxs.

hmmm thats strange. ive had 2 asus geforce cards and i never use their drivers and ive heard their O/C utilities suck. ive never really had performance issues with nvidias drivers as i always use the newest ones in most cases.

I haven't used their 'Ocing utility , most of the time I use powerstrip. Oh yeah that's another thing.... when I used the ASUS drivers I could overclock my card higher than if i used the regular Nvidia drivers. I have the newest versions of both ASUS and Nvidia drivers 44.03.

BTW , I tried to replace the 2 bad files in the ASUS driver with the same 2 from the regular Nvidia driver and it doesn't work , I still get the same results ...CRASH.

I use the 44.03 Detonator driver from Nvidia. Those seem to work good for me. No crashes and good performance. Do you use
3d benchmark 2001? If so what is your score? I got an increase in score by updating to the 44.03 driver from Nvidia.

I usually use the regular old detonater drivers from nVidia. Maybe you need to use detonater destroyer to fully remove the old files?

I overclock with the coolbits registry hack. I've had excellent results with it.

Yeah I use 3D Mark 2001 SE. Right now I've been using the 44.03 drivers . Both the ASUS drivers and the Nvidia drivers are 44.03 .

My 3D Mark 2001 score is : 13335 or here
This is with the Nvidia drivers , I cannot run 3D Mark with the ASUS ones since they have errors in them and I can't get them to work. Iv'e downloaded them several times but everytime the driver has an error in it.
