Hard Disk Image

Hi,

I have the Power Quest Drive Image Program, but I don't have the bootable disk that comes with the program. Is there a way that I can make a bootable disk that will read the Drive Image 7.0 Backup.

My OS is WinXP but my hard disk is partitioned in FAT32 and I would like to use NTFS partitions. I would use Drive Image 7.0 to make a backup of my hard disk, I presently use Ghost in DOS, but with Drive Image 7.0, I could make backups directly from WinXP.

Thank you
Germain

Put your Drive Image cd in the drive. When it comes up it will give you the option to make the disks you need.

I believe also there is a link to do it in the Start Menu folder also.

Wow, Dive Image 7. That is the latest version. Must've been expensive.

I still use a two year old vesion. It has a shortcut in the start menu to create Rescue Diskettes.

This will do what you want--create bootable flloppy/CD disks which will fire up a DOS (or its PCDOS) version of Drive Image.

I also suggest you start using the Help function to understand all the capabilities of this application as well as its limitations. As far as I know, you also need to install Microsoft .NET Platform to be able to use this version of Drive Image.
