There are also various high-end ATI Radeons with 128mb. Just use the search option.

Welcome to TIMO!

What kind of games do u play or plan to play? Do you need Dx9. Doom 3 and Half Life 2 will be dx9 so if you want to play these with all the eye candy then i would suggest getting a dx9 card. I have heard good things about the newer ATI radeon cards 9500 Pro or higher. I have a GF4 ti 4200 which is good. Best bang for your buck. Able to play most games out now with great graphics. Not know much about ATI. Just going by what I heard. Maybe someone else has some ideas.

I say go for ATI 9800 if you have the cash. If not, then settle for something a little less then that. ATI seems to be whooping Nvidia's butt right now, and there's no showing any slowdown.

I heard HL2 officially supported Radeon 9800 at E3 or something. Goes to show the great leaps ATI has made, in chipsets as well as drivers, during its long rivalry with Nvidia.

FX5900 costs 500 dollars at newegg and its not out. I hope the FX5900 beats the ATI Radeon 9800 so i can get it for less haha. Im saving alot on these parts so i hope all goes well.

I want a decent video card for now. For now its 100-200, later 200-500. Ill have some cash by then.

What do u guys think about the 9500 or 9600 or maybe the FX5600 256 MB ???

I see that you are spending alot of money and investing into building your new system But why not go with AMD instead of Intel I know you have an Intel CPU as you posted in the other thread Well Im an AMD person I dont know about other might agree with me or not but it will definetly run better and perform better then and Intel CPU especially a Celeron and not only Cost less hehehe
