Mobo needed specs inside

I need a mobo for the 2.8C

i need a mobo with very little problems.

my parts for building my first custom PC



300W Mid Tower ATX Case Black

Intel Pentium 4 2.4C

GeIL DDR RAM 512MB PC-3500 433Hz ULTRA Platinum 2 sticks

GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MBs

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 possibly depends on the mobo


im in need of a mobo

i heard stock power supplys are crappy. How much do u think i should get ?

I didnt really decide on the power yet until now.

I'd say at least 350w. If you can afford it go even higher like 400

Ill just see how far the 300 watts gets first rite now i just wanna kno a good mobo for my parts. I have to spend alot of money no time on the power supply.

I don't think you'll need more than 300W. Most say that 300w isn't enough, but it doesn't look like you'll be running a thousand power-hungry components in that thing, so I'd say stick with 300w for right now.

As for mobos, I'd say go with MSI, Abit, Asus, Epox, or Gigabyte. Those are trusted companies that churn out topnotch products.

Are you getting AMD or Intel?

Well that all depends on How much you are willing to spend to get a good mobo. Whats your budget? Your range. Because you might want to spend lets say $100 dollars on a mobo and we might tell you a $50 mobo which is good but with $100 being spent you can get even a better mobo.

If u read my parts im ordering it says P4 2.8C

im willing to sped 150-200.

whats wrong with the radeon on a 300W ?

Well im not sure on my video card either thats y i made a thread on whats a good video card to get. Ill change my power supply to 400 when i get all the parts and some money left. I dont wanna waste a whole lot in one month.
