ok when i go to certain site in IE it loads slow but when i do it in Compuserve(AOL) it loads much fast. and its like IE is compressing everything and then after its done it give it to me and AOL just have it take me straight there and let it load in front of me. also images in AOL are blury and then get sharp but ie shows it sharp already meaning it compresses it already

this should probably be over in the internet forum but oh well... I'm assuming your question is why it does that ??? aol compress's the info and the reason the sites load faster is because it caches more information on your computer.

Start up IE and click on Tools @ the top. Then go to Internet Option....then settings...Then move the slider to the right to whatever setting you want.

It maybe how AOL handles JPG's as well..
There's progressive encoding and standard encoding.
With standard, the image is downloaded in full and then appears. Whereas with progressive the image is shown as its downloading and "starts blurry and gets clearer"

Although not sure why IE is ignoring the progressive encoding. There maybe an option in IE (Show image dithering... maybe? ) to use standard regardless.
