Outdoors What the heck is up with alienware?

If you remember not too long ago, about 6 monthes maybe. Alienware's prices were NOT as high as they are now...

If you wanted a pretty stripped down Alienware-51m then it was about 2200 bucks, and top end was like 3000 or so bucks...but it seems Alienware due to their sucess (commercials, ect) are feeling like they can just jack up their prices like hell...attractive laptops....ugly price..

I wouldn't go so far as to call them junk but they're definitely overpriced.

Given the low cost of computer components these days I have to say that I'm a bit surprised that expensive designer pc companies are doing okay. There must be a market for it though or they wouldn't be around...

I bought my 2nd comp. it is Alien top of the line $3000.00. If I would have built it myself it would of saved me about $700.00 with no OS or software (3.06ghz--1gig ram) If you want state of the art you have to pay for it bottom line
