Go figure!
Just bought a cheap generic ADSL USB modem for my second computer which is running ME and which the modem software is suitable for. It took me over two hours to install as it was refusing to install the correct files, eventually it installed fine but luck had a lot to do with it.
Just installed it on my main 98fe machine, despite the fact it's for setups 98se and above - it installed perfectly first time without any glitches and is working fine!
