Ekkk 32mb hmmmm Have you had this problem before? And also you updated Direct X 9.0 But Im not sure if your Videocard is supports that version. Have you checked whether it is supports Direct X 9.0 and also doesnt that game play off a CD Maybe the CDrom needs cleaning or the CD its self?

Yeah, that 32 megs is gonna hurt, have you turned the video settings down to the lowest point? I'd do that ans slowly bump them up.

I've seen the exact same problem happen to my friend's desktop pc with NFS HP 2. He has very similar hardware as you do and all he had to do was to shut down his Norton anti-virus software! And it only happened to the NFS and MOHAA game, both from EA games! You can also try closing any other background application. Hope that helps!

The Radeon 7500 is an old card and 32 megs also hurts.....my computer is a custom build Alienware PC, and it has an Radeon 9700 pro (very good card) all my games work really good! I think u should get a new card.....like the one i have the Radeon 9700, it's so awesome! U won't regret of buying it and ur fps won't drop.
go to www.newegg.com and search for the Radeon 9700.

Good Charlotte... I think we get the point that you have alienware PC. No offense or nothing, but nearly every post i've seen of yours has you saying the same thing...
Like micro bean has said, unfortunatly most laptops really arn't designed for gaming. And upgrading isn't always an option (many laptops have fully soldered components, while some other do use sockets on the CPU & GPU).
I'm guessing the main thing with your setup that is holding you back is the 7500, in the desktop version its a fairly limiting card for todays games, so the mobile version will be even more limiting.
I'd suggest lowering all the details possible and take it from there.
