Food Wi-Fi Adapter Question

Hey, I was reading about the Centrino chipsets and essentially, it seems like it is just an Intel Motherboard, an Intel Pentium M Processor, and a Intel Wi-Fi Mini PCI card. My question is that if I get one of those Wi-Fi cards, couldnt I just install it into my laptop and have internal Wi-Fi like a Centrino laptop? Has anyone tried this? I have seen they have the cards at CDW.com.

no, I actually mean open up the bottom of the laptop and put the card in like you would memory. hence, it would be completely inside the computer without the pesky PC Card stiking out the side of the laptop

im not sure if they have slots designed like that for computer to place a wireless chip. the Centrinos have everything inside the computer built onto the motherboard.

Agreed, GZ3, don't they have like an integrated antenna underneath the keyboard or similar?

Unless it's specifically built in, I think you have to stay with PC Card!
