SXGA+ vs. XGA & Resolution on a 14.1 inch display

Would SXGA+ on a 14.1" display be too small? I've seen the SXGA+ on a 15" display which was okay (native resolution 1400x1050).

From what I understand XGA is native at 1024x768 right?

I guess I'm wondering if 1400x1050 on a 14.1" display is too small. I currently use a 19" monitor and am running at a resolution of 1152x864, so that is what I'm used to. 1280x1024 is too small for me on my monitor.

What is your opinion on XGA vs SXGA+ and resolutions and screen sizes?

here is some info on different resolution types.

I can't answer wether it is to small as that is personal opinion. Perhaps you should go to a local Best Buy or equal store and test the laptops with the various displays at different resolutions to see what works well with your eyes.
