Win 2k3 problem.

Ok I was upping my FSB the other day hit 197 fine bench marcked and every thing. I then pushed it up to 200, it posted and booted fine but once the OS is loaded and it brings up the login screen and I give it my pass it acts like its about to load the desktop but just sits there. I can hit CTRL - ALT - DEL ether, I let it sit for like 45 minutes while I was doing something and all it does is gives a small HDD blip every second or so. It also pops up an error stating that one or more device driver has failed. Now this may not be an actual problem because it has been saying that since the first time I hit 200 but it might be because before it would take like a minute to say that and now its about 3 seconds.

Is there some way I can see what these devices are that have failed? I cant get past the login screen. Can I go into some form of safe mod with 2k3?

HELP

Thanks,
PyroSama

Have you tried using F5 to get into safemode? Or does that not work with server 2003?

This is why overclocking is bad...you might try taking the FSB down to 197 or 198mhz again and testing it with that.

I have the FSB at 166 - 333 and it still wont do that. I think I messed up a driver. I dont know if f5 works I thought it was f8 though. And OCing isnt bad Im just not very experianced yet.

F5...F8 ... one of them...I always forget

Overclocking can and WILL corrupt data on your drive...that's probably what happened
