Quake 3 question actually....

You know how you can record movie of quake 3 in game by typing /record, etc...

well i know i can access those movie by going into Demos in quake 3, but is there a way to get them OUTSIDE of quake 3? i want to make a movie, so.....yeah

here u go couch a site that will walk u through the process.. on the filming page it will tell u the command u r looking for.. but I would read it all so u understand all that has to be done before out putting.. and the out put isn't in a film format.. but in pictures.. u then have to go back and put the pictures together.. and put them into the film format u want.. it talks about that in the acticle..
