Hello! At the moment i am using redhat linux 8.0, but this problem comes also in other linux's.
I have a SB!Live 5.1 and have 5 speakers, but only two work.
How do i activate the other speakers in Linux ?
How do i do to have 5.1 sound in linux?

Can anyone help me?? Please!

Welcome to TechIMO!

I believe you will find this link to be a great resource for your sound card with Linux:

I have not personally used the Live! with Linux, but I believe you may have a hard time obtaining any more than 4-channel support from your card while operating with Linux. The latest opensource driver at SourceForge claims support for the front and rear channel outputs.

Good Luck,
