Mr. Anderson is on a distinguished road
thinking of upgrading Ram on 2200+

I have a Ga 7VAX MB and I'm running 512mb of 2100 ram, Can I upgrade to 3200 ram and have the FSB run at 400 or will it not make any difference in speed if I upgrade? Must I upgrade processor also to get speed?
Thanks for any help you can give me, And great forum!

You wont get your FSB to run at 400, might push to 166 if your lucky. If you get the pc3200, its backwords compatible so your mobo would just run it at pc2100 unless you overclocked. The best thing would be to upgrade to a nforce2 mobo and at least an XP2500. Or if your into OC, get a XP1700+.
