DDR memory

i just bought my 1st ever DDR memory but im sure it should have been pc2100 DDR but the shop gave me pc2700 DDR, i have a 1800 athlon xp and a BN790T HERE MoBo
is this the right memory??? will it be ok in ma system?? and should i go complaining to the shop that sold me it

It will work in your system...but it MAY faster than your system supports...so it will just clock itself down to PC2100 speeds (266mhz)

I can't find specs on the board...but if it works, it works.

You might try to run something like SiSoft Sandra 2003 once you have it in the system to check the speed of it, and what your system supports.
