What to do?
I'm flat. Blah.
My DC herd is in utter dissarray atm.
I had 6 boxes running until a month ago.
When the mobo in my main box died.
Neatly coincided with working outta town.
Not home, no time. Great.
Shuffled boards and boxes a month ago. [OK for the time being]
Back to the dead ends...
Put in plenty of time last weekend, went nowhere.
Put in 6 hours today.
Still going nowhere.
[Not quite true, for every step, theres a slip!]

Got dead drives. Nics that wont talk.
XP appears to be unfathomable when changing hardware.
Even ran up a new XP install on a very noisy drive last nite.
Just for my own edification.
Yep that flash new mobo's sound is dead.
But why teh hell did it not configure the modem?
So tonite I tripped over the long network cable and ripped the shoulders outta of the plug on that nic.
Put in another, XP wont complete the network wizard.
Let alone let my [until now reliable] VNC run.
Are mac addresses that bluddy important?

If this is TIMO Tech Support, then this tech is holding out for some support.
Personally I'm all but fractured.
