retail heatsink for XP 2000+

Hey guys, I was just looking at the AMD XP 2000+ retail that is on sale at newegg. I was wondering what everybody thinks about the stock heatsink they give you with it. Is it loud? Does it perform well enough for a basic non overclocked system? I guess my main concern is the noise of it. Thanks.

I used one in a recent build and was surprised how quiet it was. It does a good job cooling also. You might want to replace it if you got into some clocking but it will do a fine job otherwise.

I am running one right now. I have the 2000+cpu with stock hs/f overclocked to 2100 and temps max at 109F(great case cooline). It is quite and works great. Watch out i stuck my finger in it one and broke a blade off gerrr. Then i did it with the replace ment third oen is a charm.

LOL Urban_Squrill. I had an Globalwin with a Delta fan on it that had a fan grill. I would have hated to stick my finger in that Delta becaused it turned so fast.
