Kids Dragon lite KT400

12 Help I have problems with the BIOS, at least that what I figure. I am running an AMD +1800 Athlon CPU on a SOYO Dragon Lite kt400 w/512 DDR 266MHZ. Here is the problem. I shut down my pc, or even just reboot, it hangs during the bios boot. No matter how many times I try to reboot my pc after it hangs, my pc will not boot. There is on video, or beeps from the Mothered Board. However I did find if I clear the coms before I cold-boot my sys it will work just fine until I reboot or shut down my pc. Has anyone run into this before?

Have a look through the Soyo Motherboard forum over at Amdmb.com. You may find your answer there.

Could you refer me to a specific thread? I don't see the answer, other than "this motheroard sucks".

Thanks!

This may be far fetched but perhaps you could update the bios. It may end up fixing some of your problems.

Already done; the AMD XP 3000 wasn't even detected until I Did this.

I am on the latest BIOS available on soyousa.com.

hay XXIXRJH, what was the fix or what thread did you find the fix in. I am getting ready to use a KT400 with 1800+. I am not doing any overclocking, just want run XP and normal apps.

Thanks
