Catalyst 3.5 Drivers

So what's the lowdown on these? Haven't seen them mentioned around here. Any experience with them. I'll be installing myself shortly. Didn't want to catastrophically screw things up though if somebody here warned me off first.

Must not have been expected, so nobody noticed them...or they didn't make many changes

Focused on some particular games bugs. They didn't work on performance enhancements, according to the Rage3D forums where a few ATI programmers lurk.

You may see your Direct3D performance go down, check you settings, for these drivers by default set the texture quality to HIGH, at performance's cost.

I posted the news here at TIMO but I think it got lost somewhere or something cause I was told it was posted but I never saw it. Any way, I tried them and there isn't much diff over 3.4s. I think I'm having some major issue with my vid card so preformance is pretty weak no matter what drivers I use. But stablity wise it was just as stable.
