PCanywhere

Is there a way to log into an IP and then connect to any other computer on the network in which is DHCP?

you will need to forward the correct ports to the computer you want to access

*edit how do you have your network setup?

Not sure really what you are asking, but this may help you out. You can connect to a computer on your lan via the computers name that is using DHCP, works pretty good.

Hope that helps

Well it is more of a general question on a network, because I have different networks that I connect to. For instance from my office connecting to another office, and they only have one external static IP. They don't want to purchase any more IP's so I have them setup as the dsl/router being 1 IP, and the others being dynamic. I can connect to their server because I have setup a port, but is there a way to connect to all the other computers through the server?

I can't help you out on that specific program, but there's a program called RealVNC that will let you connect to multiple computers through one static or dynamic external IP address. You can assign display numbers to each computer that you want to monitor. That way, you can be at another location, and still monitor multiple computers, all using one destination IP, it would be like 65.66.132.45:0 for computer 0, 65.66.132.45:1 for computer 1, 65.66.132.45:2 for computer 2, etc. It's also cross platform. Mac, Unix, Linux, Windows, Java, etc. you name it they've got it. So you won't have to worry about compatibility issues.

HTH,

David
