Ok, my cool boss who gave me the Linux box so I could learn linux just told me to scrounge up some parts from his counters to make a new workstation for myself. So far it has a 10GB HD, an Athlon 700 (slot a), a Gigabyte 7IXE mobo, and 128mbs memory (not sure the speed). Any way all I need now is a PSU (I may snag I 20GB I just saw and swap the ram for the 256mbs I have on my linux box). So I found an Antec 300watt variable speed fan PSU with writing on its top that said "voltage varies". Now I know a stable PSU is important for an uber stable machine but this will be running linux. I am afraid of burning out the mobo, but at the same time I know the equipment inside will not be stressing the systems 300watt PSU so I'm nto sure how the voltage fluctiations will effect it.
Thanks
