I was just wondering what kinds of audio system people have hooked up to there PC.
Here is my system:
Sharp CD-PC3500 Mini-Component System
-with Dolby Pro Logic
120w Sharp Left and Right Channels
60w Sharp Center Channel
30w Sharp Rear Channels
500w(250w rms)Savard SBP Phase 4 Hi-Q Woofer(OLD!)
-Amplified with an Altec Lansing ACS90 computer speaker system(I don't have an amplifier for the sub other than that, but it works great like this)

I have a Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 system. It's an awesome system, definitely the best 4.1 MM system out there.

Card: Audigy
Receiver: RCA RT2600 5x100, 1x150(sub)
Front: RCA Pro-LX550
Rear: Boston Acoustics CR55
Center: Bose VCS-10
Sub: Klipsch KSW-12

I originally had the Bostons in the front, but surprisingly, the RCA's sounded better so I moved them.

Unfortunately I'm still using the SBLive4.1 Value (OEM) that came with my computer. Worst card in the world. The card in my dad's 2 year old computer is better than mine. The guys on the Klipsch forums are always pulling my neck about this card and thay have a right to--it's been nothing but problems and it's horrible.

I have a Technics stereo receiver, it's pretty old but still sounds great, puts out about 60 watts per channel. I have this powering my main speakers, which are Audiosphere Research floor models.

I have a custom built set of rear speakers, they were originaly labtec mm speakers, but now they have Boston Acoustics CX3 3 1/2" 2 way coaxial car speakers in them, and they sound great.

My Center channel is an older Fisher bookshelf system, sounds pretty good, brings out voices great.

My Subwoofer is a Velodyne CHT-12 12" sub, Velodyne really are the king of home theater subwoofers.

My soundcard is a GameTheater XP, I find it really good, I love the breakout box and composite connections.

I'm gonna do some serious upgrading this summer, I think the only thing that'll be the same is the subwoofer. It's the only thing thats new . My plans so far are to get a Denon receiver, maybe the AVR-1803, and Paradigm mains, rears, and center channel. I love Paradigm soooo much! I guess I'll have to see how my money situation works out first.
