How do I identify who made my motherboard?

I'm pretty sure I have an SiS motherboard. But is SiS a motherboard manufacturer? or do I actually have a different motherboard that is not an SiS?

SiS = Silicon Integrated Systems.

Should be a serial number somewhere on the edge of the board. (sometimes its in the center) Just take that number and plug it inot the google search engine and you'll find out who the manufactor of your board is.

SiS 650 is probably the chipset the motherboard is using. Who made the computer?

Find the little white FCC tag on it (the m/b) and enter its number here: http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/
