ussenterprise is on a distinguished road
Systems Boooo
Just got the SIMs expansion SUPERSTAR and now it locks the system up when playing. Anyone got any ideas to start?
OS=XP pro.
Will provide any other info you all need (If I know it).

Did you possibly install a new version of Direct X during the Sims Installation?

Never asked for that. If I remember correctly, I am at 9.0. (at werk now...)

Definently sounds like a Direct X error

Try running system restore back before you installed the Expansion Superstar

Then check your Direct X version

When you go to reinstall your game... If it asks to load up a new version of Direct X... Just click no

Then see what happens

Also make sure ALL applications are shut OFF before you run the SIMS.. its extremely finnicky

They were all closed. I even rebooted the system after installing just to be sure.
