Logo needed for my Photography Business.

I am starting a Photography Business. I have photoshop 6, and am pretty good at image restoration, distortion, colorizing, masking, and the like, but Cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a good company Logo for my business. I am designing new Business cards and a Brochure to distribute, but need a Kick A$$ logo to put on it.

I am looking for either some help in Designing the logo via tutorials, or just some basic steps from you Guru's out there to get me started, OR if you guys can give me some that would be cool too. I would however much appreciate the knowledge so I can do it myself. give a man a fish and he eats for 1 day teach a... well you get the idea.

the name of my company if you want to help me design the logo is "A Thousand Words... Photography & Video".

i tecchnically like yours better, i look at it and think, oh yeah, thats how it could be done too, so as well as being totally gutted cos urs is better iot shows me how i am able to work differantly, nice work, keep doing what ur doing

i always produce all my work in photoshop so i can never get them to look small on the screen thats all

I seem to run into the same trouble sometimes. I'm pretty good at modding a picture, but I can never gather up the creativity it takes to build something from scratch

I love that logo Pyro...just get a different background, or gloss it up some...

Those are great. did you just creat layers with lowered Opacity?
