Kids ICS connection problem

Windows ME
Dial-up connection
I am trying to set up Internet Connection Sharing so that I can access the web with my laptop and PS2 through my main computer. I had it working on a previous install but can not get it to work correctly now.

I set up through the wizard...it detects my ethernet adapter fine...but the part where it asks how I connect to the internet...it only lists "Dial-Up Adapter"
I select this as it is my only option. I restart the computer with connection sharing enabled and connect to the web...and I can not access the web. I can not get to web pages or access my email until I disable ICS...

Any ideas?

Are you assigning the ethernet adapter an IP?

No...do I need to do that on my server for the server to access the web? When I enable ICS I am unable to get access the web with that machine(server).
