If my parents have Satellite Tv through Comcast, Can I get Cable Internet through AT&t?

I have satetillite tv ( dish network ) so the cable company would charge me more for cable internet, so I have verizon DSL for 34.95 a month

Satellite and DSL use TOTALLY different things to connect. Satellite and Cable BOT use the coaxil cale running through the house.

one has nothing to do with the other...the only concern is if at&t has service in your area all you have to do is log on to the site and enter your address and they will be more than happy to tell ya but I think comcast has tken over all a&t's internet and cable services in cali

Normally a company gives you a price break for the *Combo* package.... Tv + Internet Access.... Go with Comcast even though it isnt the greatest... But hey... it beats dial-up!

no no no

I already have satelitte tv, so if I wanted cable internet they would give it to me for a fee + a fee

if I had their cable tv and wanted their cale internet they would charge me less, hence the "PACKAGE" like reknup said

so therfore I have satellitie tv
and verizon DSL for internet, well anyway it works for me, 3 machines 4 port router, let me get building that forth one LOL

Well it's not comcast. It turns out we have DirectTV. It seems that I can't get DSL or cable. DirectTV offers DirectWay sattelite internet for $59.99 a month. To bad it's $600 to set up.

DirectTV doesn't offer a piggy-back deal.
