My computer wont stop beeping...going crazy

i put in my new GA-7N400 Pro and the speaker wont stop beeping. the freakin beepin is drivin me crazy. im about to just pull out the plug on the speaker but before i do that, is there a way to disable it from inside windows?

try unhooking ur keyboard, u may have a key thats messed up and is acting like it is pressing down.

Have you checked the manual for what the beeping means? It could be anything from an overtemp to a warning that it's not getting a signal from the CPU fan tach lead.

Start looking in the bios on the system health page. There are settings for enabling or disabling warning beeps for CPU temp, CPU fan failure, system fan failure, and power fan failure. You might want to check these settings. (Page 63 in your motherboard manual).

couldn't help but mentioning... I once had a cordless phone that was almost out of juice so it beeped every 30 seconds or so, I spent and hour wondering wtf was going on.
