FSB and Memory settings help...

I have a computer with the following setup:

ECS P4S5A/DX+ Motherboard (supports Two 184-pin 2.5V DDR SDRAM (DDR333))
Pentium4 1.8A processor
1 stick 512MB Crucial PC2700 (DDR333)
Case with 300watt ps
etc....

When I go into the setup it will let me select the FSB speed and the SDRAM memory speed. My choices are 100/100, 100/133, 100/166, 133/133, etc... It is my understanding that the ddr333 I have in there is just 166mhz double-pumped to 333. So I should be able to set it to 100/166, but when I do it will not post. If I set it to 100/100 or 100/133 it boots fine. Could it be something wrong with the memory? Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe your mem's latency is set too high.

It is being set automatically from the SPD, so I assume it is correct. Although now that you mention it, the setting shows it at 2 and on the stick itself it says 2.5. Maybe I should try to manually set it to 2.5 and then try it. Thanks for the idea.
