Gaming Mouse pop ups

Hello all - quick question..

I've been having trouble with pop ups connected to my mouse cursor on my notebook. At random times, a pop menu with about 5 options will appear.. the first option is Yahoo, and then after a few skipped spaces, Kensington (brand of my wireless mouse), a few skipped spaces, then MSN, MSN Money, etc. When I try to select something my mouse hanges and takes a few minutes to recover. I thought at first it was maybe an option that came along with the wireless mouse software I had, but there is no indication of that.

I ran Spybot with all its updates, and checked for virus via the latest version of TrendMicro's PC-cillin. After fixing all the spyware it found and coming up with no viruses, I'm still having the problem. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Welcome to TechIMO

Sounds like it was installed along with your drivers.
Have you looked under msconfig / startup to see if there is anyhing there that shouldn't be?

I just checked what was in startup - and there were a three questionable things, so I disabled them - Two were just blank entries.. ??.. Hopefully, that will take care of it, I won't know for a while - it happens so randomly. Thanks!
